CARING FOR YOUR NEW LEATHER

CONDITION

There are many leather care products on the market, however the leather cream. Made with Natural Oils and Beeswax the ingredients soak into the leathers without using any toxic chemicals. Buff a small amount of cream into the grain of your leather bag with a soft fibre cloth and you will see beautiful results.

OIL STAINS

Over time, the natural oils from your hands will begin to mark the leather of your bag, showing up mostly on the handles. If you have an unwanted greasy stain on your bag, cover the stain liberally with talcum powder or another absorbent powder, such as cornstarch or wheat germ. Allow the powder to sit on the stain overnight. In the morning, brush off the powder and the stain will be gone.

 THE ELEMENTS

Our leather isn’t coated with synthetic ingredients. We allow our leather to breathe and experience life’s elements. Leather connoisseurs know that pristine leather isn’t what you aim for. Our vegetable-tanned leather ages naturally, marks and all. The more character your bag exudes, the higher in quality it becomes – and the more you fall in love with it.

RAIN

If you find yourself in rainy conditions, don’t panic.  Once you’re in a dry place, be sure to blot away any water droplets on the surface with a soft cloth and leave to stand for a few hours. It’s vital that you don’t place your bag next to a direct source of heat, such as a radiator. The leather will dry out and become brittle.
